Christmas Eve

Here, some things that have made me happy in the last few days. Warning: picture heavy!

First of all, by absolute necessity in the face of weeks of procrastination, photos of Mamash in her shawl. My father went out of town for a couple of days and my grandma hung out with us -- yay! We're in the midst of a very chilly wet snap (for Central Texas anyway; hush, you northerners) and she's been wearing her fabulous new shawl nonstop! She puts it over her head a la fishwife. She wraps it around herself a la granny. She wears it nonchalantly 'round her shoulders a la fashion diva, thusly:

Well, I was also going to upload and share a couple of photos of the boy riding his trike. We just realized today that he can reach the pedals now! But he came and curled up in my lap and is happily munching arrowroot cookies while he watches Rudolph on TV, so I guess I'll have to wait until I can stand up and reach the back of the computer case.
